Lorna Waters-Tellez, RN, BSN, MPH, CCE, IBCLC
Lorna has been a registered nurse with a focus on maternal child health for over thirty years. She began her career working in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. Realizing her passion for health and wellness, she received her Master of Public Health Degree in Health Promotion and Education specializing in Maternal Child Health. With a goal of helping clients identify steps to living a healthier happier life especially in the area of birth and family education, she became a Certified Childbirth Educator and Internationally Board Certified Lactation consultant. She has been a birth and family health educator teaching Childbirth, Birthing Naturally, Breastfeeding, Newborn Care and Infant CPR for many years. Currently, Lorna is a Lactation Consultant and Childbirth Educator at three hospitals in the Dayton area seeing patients on the Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and NICU units as well as in the outpatient clinics.
